The name means "witch" in Italian, and comes from its history used as a tonic to ensure the union of lovers. The flavour is subtle, slightly herbal with vague notes of vanilla and liquorice, but a nice dry finish. Perfect for sipping as an after dinner digestif, Strega is also commonly used in fruity Italian desserts.
