Twyn y Sheriff Year:1 YR As the name suggestsA Welsh bittersharp sweet cider apple. Green round fruit with some pink flushing, no russet. A distinctive aroma. Flowers third week of May. Ready mid season, usually October. Found by Dave Matthews in an orchard on Tywn y Sheriff Farm, south of Raglan, Monmouthshire. A good blender with very pretty blossom.
