The frost was very heavy, and the sun had just struck the roof of the barn, causing steam to radiate into the air. Within minutes water from the melted frost was streaming off the roof. This spectacular sight became Jons painting called Radiance. 15% of the proceeds of this print go to benefit the Black Hills Historic Preservation Trust.
