Stolichnaya Primitivo and aged in Vermont OakStolichnaya is a Russian vodka made from wheat and rye grains, distilled four times, and filtered through birch activated charcoal and quartz sand. It has an alcohol content of 40% alcohol by volume (ABV; 80 proof) and is blended with artesian water. The vodka originated in the Soviet Union in 1938, and there are two versions: the version found outside Russia is made in Latvia, while the version found inside Russia is made there.
