Sonically graded boards in the Pacific Rim Tonewoods Vault are required to meet the following specifications:    Density in the range of 350 - 500 kg/m3    Stiffness within 10% of mean and above    Q (damping) >= 150Of the wood that makes it to testing (about 50% of total production)

depending on how the light hits them

We need a certain size log to capture two consecutive 1 cuts from the same block to yield a perfectly bookmatched set.
