The ebony is salvaged from old carvings and the silver is recycled sterling silver. This wood has such a beautiful feel to it as you work with it that it is quite addictive! :) There is something quite different working with organic material as opposed to metal. It's not as forgiving of mistakes as silver is as it's easy to smelt silver back down
