Clos Saint Jean, Chateauneuf du Pape, Vieilles Vignes 2012 Cabernet Franc The first vintage is 202194 CellarTracker First whiff upon uncorking was alcohol and indistinct frutti di bosco. A very inky garnet in the glass, with even, long legs upon the swirl. It took an hour to open up and settle down, but when it did, enticing aromas of raspberry, kirsch, and frankincense wafted from the glass. Full bodied, the palate held fig jam, raspberry, black cherry, and some licorice on the aft palate. The finish was long, the fruit notes guided by leather and
