Dark Confidant One of the most infamous wizards, Dark Confidant gives you extra cards each upkeep by revealing the top of your library, though it costs you life equal to the mana value

Flexibility is always appreciated, and you might occasionally get extra value from Gnarlid Colony if you have other creatures with counters on them

He also plays well with airbending, putting a +1/+1 counter on each creature you control whenever you cast a spell from exile or a permanent you control returns from exile

To fix this problem without betraying the colors principals, red needs to have more options for reactive plays on the stack
