Svyelun of Sea and Sky Ward 1 is more of an annoyance than a real protective ability, but Svyelun of Sea and Sky has built-in resilience, so your opponent cant brush it aside
Creature removal for green and blue, enchantment removal for black and red, hand disruption for the non-black decks etc
Slickshot Show-Off offers no such obvious payoff for waiting, but its worth investigating because I believe Slickshot Show-Off to be among the most promising cards for multiple Constructed formats in Outlaws of Thunder Junction, and an exciting update for my Tempo Twobert
