In theory, the Hero strategy has a huge advantage of being able to deploy itself much more quickly than the Rat deck, which, in simplistic form, casts the first Rat on turn 3

An altogether decent creature for your green deck, especially to dissuade chip damage
It tries to stick a heroic creature and begin targeting it over and over again with effects that make it enormous and unblockable, all the while holding protection spells like Gods Willing to save the creature from removal
The set will see TCGP debuts for the likes of Koraidon ex and Miraidon ex, and the Future and Ancient categories will also begin to crop up in the game, so you can start to build decks with whatever attack/speed strategies you prefer
Thanks to the energy mechanic, the deck has a ton of play, and each game (or even each turn) has a bunch of small choices about when and how to spend our energy, which is a fun challenge
