That said, custom proxy cards are generally not permitted in officially sanctioned Wizards of the Coast tournament play
One nice feature is if a creature loses its +1/+1 counters (and there may be some advantageous ways to accomplish that in this set), it can adapt again and pick up more
It excels at ramp thanks to all the proliferate-scaling rocks like Astral Cornucopia, plus it's loaded with interaction and pillowfort cards to deal with the salt coming your way
