(Strange "if".) The Splashes It goes without saying that this card is indispensable for a deck hoping to splash Green
I count: 38 lands and The Balrog of Moria (kinda), Treasure Nabber, Arcane Signet, Basalt Monolith, Commander's Sphere, Everflowing Chalice, Mind Stone, Relic of Sauron, Sol Ring, Worn Powerstone, Shiny Impetus, Cavern-Hoard Dragon 50 mana
My hope is however the deck will consistently make a number of infectors on the first two turns and then either maintain the pressure with a bit of disruption and more guys or end the game suddenly with Plating or Ravager
If you could only get one mana per turn from this guy he would still be good and so his interaction with sac lands and other effects that can net you vast amounts of mana really push him over the edge and offer some great fun god draws
As far as I can tell, theres only one other card with that ability, and it stinks
Some nasty players put dredge to work to prove just how lost you can get in the swamp that belongs to The Gitrog
