If you're A) planning to do 100+ ranked drafts of this set no matter what and/or B) a pro-level player that can improve your win rate 8-10% if you don't take the bad Rares, then you may not need to pick bad Rares quite so ruthlessly
There are some cool ideas like the many ways of giving it deathtouch but thats a discussion for another time
The synergies that can exist don't need to be fully maximised to be good and going a little from column A and a little from column B tends to give a more robust build
Armarouge EX is a decent Pokmon in this set, and while taking 30 less damage looks good, it isnt too fantastic against a meta where Mega Evolutions are running rampant
That time around, madness wasn't this dominating force of nature for Constructed, although I loved madness as a draft archetype, and it was my favorite of the era
The Alolan starters Rowlet, Litten, and Popplio are among the list, and of course, their evolutions too
