If this card were released a month earlier, perhaps I could rank it higher

If you're not trying to go wide and are counting on this creature to be your three-drop, keep in mind this will not stick around for very long

Commander 2020 decks will likely retain value for longer due to the number and quality of the contents (see New Cards below), but they also cost more to buy in the first place

Mindleecher Mindleecher plays best in EDH where it draws three cards while turning a random token into a 5/5 flier

This makes sense, since both sets were the first time back on planes which had pretty underpowered sets the first time around, so perhaps were righting the historical balance at WotC
