I like Samurott because it reminds me of Victini VMAX - it has a caveat to fulfil the damage bonus of its attack, however, its relatively easy to satisfy and it can do it for a low energy cost
There are good ways to deal with it such as countering the adventure part or having graveyard exile, but it snowballs quickly outside of that
Its place as a starter Pokmon gives it a pivotal role in shaping the early game experience, offering players a balance of offensive and defensive capabilities
Obviously a card that does this is going to see some serious competitive play, as demonstrated by teams such as Comic Odyssey
