The stats on many of red and blacks cheap common and uncommon creatures are extremely weak, and most combat tricks you have access to will not help them survive a block

Not everyone will feel like playing with certain changes, and thats ok

Where it does shine is how it buffs all your guys elves, take note by giving them not only trample, but also +X/+X, where X is the number of creatures you control
