I wanted to add more lifegain for Crested Sunmare to roll off of that still stuck to the deck's theme and didn't gobble up too many slots, but investing too many cards into something that isn't your commander without black tutors never works out well
Then you remember powerful lands such as Gaeas Cradle, fetchlands, or even Strip Mine and you realize that you can do a lot more than what the designers probably considered when this card was created
For example, if we look at a card like Mindbreak Trap, it says exile any number of target spells. It would be to powerful if you could exile any number of creatures on the battlefield, so this only refers to cards that are on the stack
You only need a couple of non-Thopter creatures or pretty much any way of ending your opponent, but it shouldnt be that difficult at this point
but in these trying times, I really hope that people are taking care of themselves and remembering to find things that they enjoy
They revere every aspect of their snailsworship them, consume their flesh, convert what's left into magicthen a new connection is forged
