Id rather just pay that and force my opponent to remove the body from the board than pay more for a creature that doesnt stick around and will probably just be blocked and killed

Koma, World-Eater Koma, World-Eater in Foundations is much more tame than the Kaldheim one, but the uncounterability, size and serpents are not to be underestimated
It was a slow process getting the investment ready and digging far enough into the game to have the cards to spare but if a deck had no use for excess mana this was still a highly effective endgame especially for decks that used Thawing Glaciers
