The need to be pitching blue spells to make it work is real, but there are enough blue decks in the format and enough combos that need to be stopped on your opponents turn that this card is likely to see constant play for years, even if mostly out of the sideboard
So Death Toll and the other precons for this set are playable in normal Commander games as well
Instead of relying on familiarity alone, this release leans on presentation to stand out

This clearly doesnt belong in just about every deck but if your local meta has heaps of equipment matter decks, you can turn someones 20/18 First strike, menace, temple, flying, lifelink Rograkh back into a more manageable 0/1
