While nowhere near as explosive as Mox Opal, Springleaf Drum still facilitates some explosive starts where we can play a zero-drop like Memnite or Ornithopter on Turn 1, follow it up with Springleaf Drum, tap our summoning-sick zero-drop to make a mana, and then play something like Bomat Courier or Signal Pest, adding three cheap artifacts to the battlefield on Turn 1, which we can then hopefully follow up with a payoff like Arcbound Ravager or Steel Overseer on Turn 2
