Commanders matter because not only do they dictate your decks colours and therefore the cards you can include in your deck, but much like the super-powerful companion mechanic, they are a card you always have access to
That said, this card is definitely the flashiest one released in MTG Fallout, and will make some new EDH decks that are trying to win with the card
