Then, this shambling corpse has undying, meaning it comes back with a +1/+1 counter if it dies without one, so once your opponent kills it, it returns stronger, like any good ghoul

Its not worth protecting any random creature, but the stronger the creatures you have, the more likely you are to want a card like Magic Damper
