The combo is a little slow and as a creature based one it is disruptable but as the deck that houses it is pretty solid and there is redundancy on the combo you don't much care about that

It slots right into a proliferate deck so that you can keep the small ones alive

Any Creature that manages itself like that and scales so well is worth peeking at for a Commander build
