Preventing your Monsters from being affected by Monster effects makes this card plenty impressive on its own, but Flawless Perfection of the Tenyi also discourages your opponent from Special Summoning Monsters, by allowing you to draw two cards if they do so outside of the Damage Step
While Im all about combat myself, there didnt seem to be much room for other kinds of strategies and therefore player preference
