One easy way to tell if a double-faced card is transforming as opposed to modal (like cards from previous sets, such as Strixhaven: School of Mages ) is that each transforming double-faced card will have an ability that either transforms it into their other face or has it enter the battlefield or be cast transformed
Probably my personal favourite deck for kitchen table play, the strategy is very straightforward and consistent - using 1- and 2-drop enchantments to set up the damage base, then force your opponents to discard while you Lightning Bolt and Terminate your way through any threats that hit the ground (occasionally letting a chump slide through...only to take a Sinister Possession)
It's a great idea to start everyone off with just one set, from scratch, so there's a fairly even playing field at launch and the meta is still shaking out
