VS Izzet Phoenix Out: In: Aether Gust is medium here but could potentially be huge against their sideboard cards

Menace already makes him hard to block profitably, but whenever any creature you control attacks alone, it gets a +1/+1 counter and you surveil for X equal to its counters

You can still lose your creature to Krark-Clan Shaman, but thats less likely with the counter
