Im generally more excited for the flavor of Adventures in the Forgotten Realms than the power level, but in terms of raw power the set does have a handful of great options for Cube

Final Fantasy includes a full Standard set, a handful of Secret Lair drops, a Starter Kit, and four Commander decks

To improve the mana base, Id add Shambling Vent, Fetid Heath, and Vault of Champions, replacing three basic Plains

Its often just turning a mana dork (think Dyad Arbor ) into something that ends the game

And its instant speed, so you can wait until after blockers are declared if you wish
