If you don't benefit off keeping your level 8 or higher Extra Deck monster on the field, you probably shouldn't be summoning it Only really worth considering if you want to trigger a particular float effect, and even then you're probably better off investing either in Extra Monsters that remove themselves from the Extra for you, or Main Deck monsters you can use to increase the value of whatever you have in the Extra Zone (eg via laddering)
