In my opinion, being more often on the play is more important for the tempo deck than an extra card in hand

(If this creature isn't monstrous, put X +1/+1 counters on it and it becomes monstrous.) When this creature becomes monstrous, goad up to X target creatures your opponents control

I personally like this card more because its eventually easier to get rid of if youre losing too much life or you dont want to grant your opponents extra cards each turn
