This "deck-in-a-box" idea has never resulted in a particularly strong commander deck, but it's always been fun

Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre I remember for a long time Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre was the gold standard of top-end plays in Commander

Cheap ones, like Michael Darling, Kakamora, and Rabbit are great early plays, as is Skull Rock to get your location strategy going

So much so that the card is already being eyed up for cEDH lists by high-level players

If you see a card in Whispers in the Well with the full name and version name of one from an older set, you can also use older versions of the card from previous sets
