While using it carries a small risk, so long as your named card isnt in the 6 cards you exile, you can find the card you need at the end of an opponents turn, then have access to all your mana to cast the tutored card on yours

The second ability may not come up often, but it allows you to push through Commander damage or to utilize a voltron approach instead
