After photographing the abundance of wildflowers on the prairie with the sunrise

A glorious sunrise illuminates the clouds with spectacular colors as the winds bring motion to the surface of Wildflower Lake during this spring day at Wildflower Park

I knew where in the park I wanted to catch the sunrise and photograph it

I reached the trailhead soon after leaving the house with camera gear in hand and it wasn't long before I started seeing the wildflowers that were in pristine condition

With the colors of this July sunrise appearing just before the sun touches the horizon
