It is printed using a wax resist dyeing technique. The Netherlands is the main supplier of these clothes because they date back to when West Africa was colonised. The Dutch wax prints found a market in the Gold Coast, later spreading all across West Africa adopting African styles and motifs. Today, Dutch wax prints are still produced in The Netherlands and have become an
