Though my preferred method of simplification is killing everything my opponents play, theres a more aggressive option: loading your deck up with unblockable creatures to limit your opponents choices
I could have picked [casthaven]Dragonlord Silumgar[/casthaven] [casthaven]Mind Control[/casthaven] or [casthaven]Grimgrin, Corpse-Born[/casthaven] Zombies, but eventually I was taken back to Gatecrash and [casthaven]Lazav, Dimir Mastermind[/casthaven], The Clone Deck. I havent seen a deck in the archetype survive beyond a one week metagame of sorts, but I have a had a bit of history with the archetype, dating as far back as 2012 when I built a Blue/Black casual 60-card deck to play on the floor or at the kitchen table of my friends apartments in multiplayer
The discard option works particularly well in Reanimator, Madness, and other graveyard-focused strategies, but the Artifact option is what gives Demand Answers its real flexibility
Ive learned to play around this card after getting destroyed by it several times, so I respect its role as one of the best sweepers in the format out of the sideboard
While Tyvars attacking trigger isnt the most engaging, it certainly has its merits once youve built up an immense army of Elves
This two-mana aura protects pretty much any creature of your choice, and as its not only a good card, but one of a kind too, its only natural itd see some spikes here and there
