If you can get one of the Static Mareep (here and here) as a starter you can have a fully charged Pokmon on turn 2 then (or as soon as possible) evolve/Candy/Breeder/Broken Time-Space into this Ampharos for decent upfront damage, a little snipe and a brutal punishment of 3 damage counters whenever your opponent attaches Energy from their hand, especially harsh early on in the game when things really need setting up
The obvious downside here is the mana value and the flow of games not leading to a solid creature base to be effective
If Followed Foosteps did not enchant a creature when last on the battlefield as it went to the graveyard as a state-based action when the enchanted creature left the battlefield in response to the trigger, then no copy will get created
