The additional lifelink and Glimmer ability that returns it from the graveyard makes it one of the strongest cards for those decks

It is OK with a single attack as it offers a reasonable 12 point swing and the potential to leave behind a decent board presence

Note that while I have good options in Dreadmaw's Ire and Sunfire Torch, its hard to pass this (its not the absolute bomb in this deck, but still pretty good)
