Nabbing a few keywords from your opponents creatures is nice, but its unreliable
Mana fixing is always very important - anytime you can run a mana creature/artifact or filter lands of some kind, it's likely in your favor to do so
Savvy Trader is something of a standout from this deck for me as sort of Eternal Witness effect with upside, though its a little too inefficient to hang in a lot of Cubes
You do have to discard a card to specialize, but lands can count as the color you need when discarding
