Vigilance is a bit harder to work with when it comes to vehicles, as you still have to crew them (therefore tapping a creature), but given that in general, your biggest creatures in a vehicle deck are going to be your vehicles, it can be a heck of a disincentive to have them untapped when it comes time for opponents to decide who to attack
