The deck provides a number of effects that can surprise the opponent that did not read the cards, since "Vendread" Main Deck monsters tend to revive themselves, the "Vendread" Ritual monster provide searches upon their demise, "Vendread Battlelord" disabling entire card types and the Ritual Spell "Revendread Origin" serving as protection for some of the archetypal monsters while in the graveyard
I do really like that we get the exact same robe and whatever that white scarf-like thing is supposed to be from the Frontier Wiseman, really hammering home that this is the Possessed Dark Soul possessing the Wiseman, and turning him into a far more powerful possessed man, y'know
Most people should pick up a cheap pack or two of penny sleeves , just in case you pull any really nice cards
Those two cards combined led to the creation of a wide array of green-black decks that Sol Malka got named "Rock." Eventually that name was corrupted to include any green-black deck involving creatures but the creatures were never the key to Rock's success
