Since you don't have the means to give him vigilance, your deck lacks any other defensive measures (so right now, all you can try to do is outpace your opponents and hope their decks don't have any creature removal to get rid of Blanka)
(Until there are enough options for a high-density of solid sacrifice outlets in Temur colors, I wouldnt go all in on that plan, but the one-off is a nice option that synergizes with the rest of the deck.) There are a lot of creatures with great abilities for +1/+1 counters, and we also just want back-up options in case casting our commander becomes difficult
Our backup commander is Hashaton, Scarabs FistHashaton, Scarabs Fist, a 1/3 Zombie Wizard that lets us pay whenever we discard a creature card in order to make a tapped token thats a 4/4 black Zombie copy of that creature
Your opponents are then forced to choose between taking more poison counters or losing their creatures
If you really want the additional Anger, go for it
It's interesting to see the card going for so much money now, when we have literally no idea how it'll play - the rules for the Lorcana TCG have not been announced yet
