Despite lacking the Madam Mim bounce package that once made the archetype great, Amethyst/Steel just has so many handy tools available to it to make it strong, and the latest set gave the deck even more to work with

For the record, Im not a fan of The Royal Scions in Modern, but it felt unreasonably powerful in this deck

I'm not looking at great Vehicle Commanders (there are a bunch), nor am I looking at the Vehicles themselves (even though some of them surely are also excellent support cards)

As far as big card draw spells go, this rivals some of blues best
