While Loot, Exuberant Explorer only lets you play one additional Land per turn, its activated ability is pretty sweet

A 1/1 lifelink isnt that good, of course, but Hopeful Eidolon will often be much more, like a 3/3 or 4/4

Saffgor: How you'd want this to play, where you nominate one opponent to have the other two foes protect, is neat

Its a key threat in Izzet Cauldron and control decks, and in older formats, players use blink effects to make it a permanent threat

The Red one just has a 1/1 body, but it can tap with three mana to fight, and when it is dealt damage you can redirect it
