The deck is surprisingly powerful, able to quickly flood the table with a huge token army that keep you safe and finish off your opponents with lethal combats, but also has some incredible consistency in card draw, interaction, and protection (Ferrous himself comes protected by common removal spells like Swords to Plowshares!)
The X/Y/Z bit is a bit bizarre, the artwork isn't quite as zany as it could've been, and the flavour text, presumably, is the actual WOTC customer service number
Today, gaining tapping and gaining 5 or 6 life for each time in Commander it's not as strong with its 40-life start, and there aren't as many of these running around to abuse the table with 4 in each deck, and there's not the obvious Elf deck power for most multiplayer tables where you usually had one, and sometimes two

This one-mana 1/1 Goblin Warrior with Menace is an absolute headache for opponents
