Any control or midrange deck is hungry for life gain, being able to pack Incinerate, Searing Spear etc with a free three life in your deck goes a long way

And why so much

The Mantle is a drop, equip and will let you spend 3 mana to untap Jan and grow him +2/+2 and that's nice as well

Its also mono-colored and runs into many other commander problems we already discussed, so do yourself a favor and avoid this commander unless youre building a mono-white bird typal deck or something similar

I changed one persons score on one card while making the list as it was an extreme statistical outlier: One person gave Mox Pearl a one, for what I can only assume was the purpose of making a dramatic statement about their feelings about the card
