These are blunt tipped shears with a serrated stainless steel blade, designed for cutting clothing or rope close to skin. They work equally well for both left and right handed. Note: they're are also useful for trimming rope ends, or cutting longer ropes in half to make your own short lengths. We'd recommend a second pair for
