The fact that Pelt Collectors ability triggers when creatures die as well as enter the battlefield is an important part of the card that allows it to be a better topdeck in the lategame than it otherwise would be
I didn't build this list as a combo deck, but any deck that is designed to draw cards effectively could easily be pivoted to being a deck that wants to dig for combo pieces
